This September, we welcomed 11 new students to IIST, 8 master’s students and 3 doctoral students.
They are from very diverse countries and have a unique background.
On 12th September, an orientation and an exchange event for new students have been held online.
There are some orientation sessions from two vice directors of IIST, Professor Uchida and Professor Yu, and welcome remarks from previous vice director Professor Zhou for new students.
After the orientation, we had a fun exchange event.
Two current IIST students were additionally invited as guests and they talked about many topics such as their research works and life in Japan, providing experience and inspiration for new students.
We hope it would be a fantastic start for their new life at Hosei.
