Mr. Clément Ludovic, Alan SAINT-MARC, IIST student, has received the student award of the 83rd National Convention of Information Processing
Society of Japan.
In his article, ‘GENERATING HOMOPHONIC MUSIC WITH LSTMS DEDICATED TO MELODY AND HARMONY’, the authors propose the automatic music composing method using neural networks that generate the melody from the motif, which is a short phrase, then harmonize with it, simulating musician’s composing process.
